  I am a Kent State University graduate, with a Bachelors of Arts in Architectural Studies. My degree focus is in Urban and Environmental based design, but also offers the flexibility to explore and discover a wider range of architecture based relationships. I started working at DDR, a commercial real estate company, in Northeast Ohio in January of 2013. My original title at DDR was administrative assistant. I support six of the executives and directors in the Redevelopment and Expansion department. My typical day to day was to handle/assist in all of their usual daily task. Fortunately for me, my coworkers also utilize my skills and background by having me edit and work in programs such as Photoshop, SketchUp and CAD. This luckily paid off and helped me further myself within the company. In June of 2014 I became a CAD Operator (now Pre-Construction Designer) in the Architectural Service Group within the Construction department of DDR. I now typically handle LOD, Exhibits, Site Plan edits, and Renderings. Although these are just a few of my current skills, I continued to grow my skills within our small department and was able to move forward yet again; into Tenant Coordination. I assumed the role of Tenant Coordinator in May of 2019. This new role helped me expand my skill set and knowledge of construction further. I Managed relationships with Tenants and managed ongoing and newly developed projects, while coordinating with various departments (Leasing, Legal, Property Management and Accounting) to ensure smooth delivery of projects in a timely manner and within budget. As well as, centrally coordinate and manage communications, documents and meetings between contractors, tenants and property managers to keep everyone on schedule and maintain that everyone knows their roles in any given project. I am a driven, detailed oriented person, I love to learn and soak up any and all information my field has to offer. While organization and structure are some of my strongest attributes; I try to remain balanced in every way. In my free time I enjoy: relaxing with my husband, daughter and our two dogs, volunteering at City Dogs Cleveland, various house projects (creating an open floor plan, laying hardwood floors, and remodeling multiple rooms), wandering the great outdoors, as well as watching hockey, and any sort of art project that allows me to be hands on and use my creative side.
